EAMA

  • EAMA (European Anger Management Association) is the Cyprus and Greece chapter of NAMA (National Anger Management Association) which is based in the USA.
  • It was created with the aim of providing educational – counseling services and Certifications in Anger Management.
  • NAMA (National Anger Management Association) is an international professional association (represented in 29 countries) that focuses on Anger Management, Crisis Intervention, and Domestic Violence.
  • The European Anger Management Association – EAMA, will be the chapter in Cyprus and Greece that will introduce and promote the above areas through the authorized NAMA programs, where a Special Certification with international recognition will be given.
  • The approval for creating EAMA (European Anger Management Association) has been given to Vasiliki Christofi who is already in stage IV in Anger Management, being the First and Only To Date Certified Trainer in Anger and Crisis Management in Greece and Cyprus.
  • NAMA recognizes that there are various techniques and methods to address anger, crisis intervention, and domestic violence effectively and therefore supports the expansion of knowledge and effective (evidence-based) solution models.
  • The certifications of anger management specialist, crisis intervention and domestic violence are internationally recognized credentials. The NAMA Anger Specialist Certification is recognized by all courts in the U.S.A. NAMA offers unique training and accreditation for Crisis Intervention and Domestic Violence with an emphasis on safety (for ALL), approaches to brain/cognitive behavior change, attention to power/control issues, and appropriate de-escalation techniques.

Vasiliki Christofi, obtained her BA in Applied Communication (Communication Specialist) at London Metropolitan University, U.K. with Specialization in Public Relations and Gender Communication.

She also obtained the “Business Management Programme” of the Institute of Leadership and Management U.K. and she is an Approved Trainer of Institute of Leadership and Management U.K. and Certified Trainer by the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus.

Additionally, she is the only NAMA (National Anger Management Association) Certified: Anger Management Specialist IV and CCIS Crisis Intervention Specialist in Cyprus and Greece.

Simultaneously, she obtained special training in the fields of Face Micro Expressions and Subtle Expressions by Paul Ekman, USA and Anger Management of Logan Group, USA.

The last 12 years she has been working at Conicon as a Trainer, Personal Consultant / Coach and as Training Manager. She delivers high caliber training, coaching and consulting in her areas of expertise in Cyprus and overseas with emphasis on Communication and Personal Development, Body Language, Conflict Management, Anger Management with customers, Enhancing Professional Image (Image Building), Public Relations, Event Management, in a number of professionals from all sectors, including professionals, managers, Insurance Professionals, Customer Service Executives and people who pursue the development of their interpersonal skills.

Vasiliki is an invited Speaker at Conferences, Television, and radio programs to address and analyze the people profiles through their body language, Conflict Management, Anger, Communication, Gender communication and at the same time to give advice to audiences on how they can develop top-notch interpersonal skills.
Concluding Vasiliki Christofi has the ability to recognize and persuade people to adopt attitudes and behaviors that can assist them to develop their Interpersonal Skills.
